- Role in Pseudoarthosis/loose screws
- MRI – enhancement around disc/nerves root can be normal
- Abnormal - Endplate erosions, paracentral/epidural enhancement
- MDT approach – Plastics input for challenging cases
- Attempt debridement/Vac dressing in first instance – hardware removal if refractory
