- Like MS, may also demonstrate oligoclonal bands in CSF.
- ADEM is generally monophasic, and lesions occur within a couple of weeks.

- Treatment
- High-dose IV corticosteroids
- Good response
- Plasmapheresis
- IV immunoglobulin
