      Details
      Ferromagnetic
      - Steel alloys – typically pre-1985
      Non-ferromagnetic/Weakly ferromagnetic
      - “Elgiloy”, “Phynox” (Nickel-Chromium-Cobalt)
      - Deflects weakly or not at all in low field magnet up to 0.6T
      - As field strength increases deflection and translational attraction increase
      - Maybe safe but considerable artefact – prefer 1.5T
      Titanium
      - No deflection or translational attraction
