Definition

  • A germ cell tumour composed of somatic tissues derived from two or three of the germ layers (i.e. the ectoderm, endoderm, and mesoderm).
  • If there is any evidence of incomplete differentiation for any element

  • 19.6% (23.3% of Teratoma)

Histopathology

  • Macroscopic
    • Incompletely differentiated elements
      • Contain immature, embryonic, or fetal tissues either exclusively or in addition to mature tissues
