  • Although these meningiomas can be purely intraosseous, many have intracranial extensions as minor durally based lesions.
  • The indications for surgery are usually cosmetic and diagnostic (to differentiate from other pathologies, such as metastases).

  • Calvarial meningiomas located over the sinuses, such as the superior sagittal sinus, could be challenging.
